I'll say it again. Dianna and Jacob, if I have to drag him from our house to the river myself.

Posted by: Dianna at September 24, 2004 11:58 AM

please put down me and kristen, (assuming you are still my canoe buddy, kristen?)

and also jason and erik.

Posted by: michele at September 24, 2004 12:25 PM

yeah buddy! buddy buddy buddy.

i am open to a third in our canoe if anyone is feeling stranded. a fourth, if they are small. five will not be considered.

If swinging by the Presidio en route to the river is still feasible, I would still like to be Gene's partner, as sweaty and exhausted as I might be.

Posted by: sean at September 24, 2004 12:33 PM

i am open to a third if their names are christine or kati vol. or jason if anderson abandons him. that slut.

Posted by: michele at September 24, 2004 12:40 PM

p.s. operation 'get sean!' in effect.

Posted by: michele at September 24, 2004 12:41 PM

Sweet! As a courtesy to my automobiling partners, Operation Change of Clothes will also be in effect, with support provided by the Old Spice strike brigade.

Posted by: sean at September 24, 2004 01:00 PM

the black-ops Operation Push Sean In The River will be put in effect in the event of those other two ops failing.

Posted by: didofoot at September 24, 2004 01:12 PM

uh...my car CAN hold 5 (including me). but i think comfort level demands 4.

Posted by: michele at September 24, 2004 01:13 PM

anderson has a small pick-up truck (i think) which will hold 2.

Posted by: michele at September 24, 2004 01:14 PM

ditto for the audi: comfort level is definitely 4 only.

Posted by: didofoot at September 24, 2004 01:27 PM

particularly depending on what car sean is in. comfort smell level could be impacted here.

Posted by: michele at September 24, 2004 01:45 PM

If anyone needs/wants a ride, my car will hold one passenger comfortably with the top down. Also, relatively small people who *really* like the wind in their hair (I mean a lot) are welcome to ride in the back seat. I am coming back to SF afterwards.

Posted by: Ivan at September 24, 2004 02:23 PM

ooh ooh! good point. i might not be coming back to SF afterwards. in fact, i won't be. phill though.

You know, I really worry about people who sign things with their pets' names.

Posted by: Dianna at September 24, 2004 03:02 PM

whoops for posting twice and whoops for not changing my name.

whoop it up, yokels.

Posted by: michele at September 24, 2004 03:05 PM

Whoop whoop!

*raises the roof*

Posted by: Dianna at September 24, 2004 03:20 PM

whoop, there it is!

Posted by: Ivan at September 24, 2004 03:41 PM

I'm coming too! And I will sit in Michele and Kristen's canoe like we planned all that misty time ago, though I want to paddle. I can drive too if we need more SF-bound cars, but you should really be 5'7" or under to sit in the back seat.

Posted by: Christine at September 24, 2004 04:14 PM

you can paddle, i won't stop you.

Posted by: michele at September 24, 2004 04:26 PM

Christine, only two people per canoe can paddle (cause that's how many oars we get).

Posted by: gene at September 24, 2004 04:48 PM

Gene, I just want to point out that while my car might be considered a bit "sporty," it is not actually a "sports car"... it doesn't have enough chrome.

Posted by: Ivan at September 24, 2004 05:25 PM

Someone should check in with that sporty bastard Dustin. Forestville is an emerging real estate market, after all.

Posted by: sean at September 24, 2004 05:46 PM

Inflatable Supermodels Dustin and Zack are in, as is non-Inflatable Girlfriend Keri. Now it's *really* gonna rock.

Posted by: sean at September 24, 2004 06:39 PM

Swiss and I in one canoe. Two paddles, a pack and a mohair sweater.

Thanks everyone for coming, I had a great time. Can't wait till next year.

Posted by: gene at September 27, 2004 08:45 AM

We should do this end-of-the-season thing more often. Low water be damned, it's nice not having 4239532652934 people around.

Posted by: Dianna at September 27, 2004 09:54 AM

(With apologies to everyone who flopped ass-first into 2 feet of water, of course.)

Posted by: Dianna at September 27, 2004 10:07 AM

I had fun too, thanks for the memories people! :-) I'll publish my disposable camera pics soon.

Posted by: Ivan at September 29, 2004 12:54 PM
